(Unila): The international collaboration between the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB), Unila and The North-West Institute of Management (NWIM) has been updated. FEB is also making an attempt to explore collaboration with Saint Petersburg University of Management Technologies and Economics (UMTE) in Russia.
The collaboration was marked by a visit to the two leading universities by the dean of FEB, Prof. Nairobi and his team on Thursday, March 2, 2023, local time.
NWIM is one of Russia’s best and largest business campuses for Economics and Finance. The collaboration between Unila and NWIM has been taking place for approximately two years particularly intended to develop knowledge and student exchanges between the universities.
NWIM sent four students to study at FEB for one semester in this academic year, as an actualization of the collaboration in an international level. The collaboration also includes research and publication of research.
The FEB team met with Professor Oleg Smeshko, Rector of UMTE, and Professor Rumyantseva Anna Yuryevna, Vice Rector for Research and International Cooperation for the execution of the action plan and the signing of the memorandum of understanding to boost the partnership going forward.
Along with the FEB dean visit to Russia were the Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and Cooperation, Dr. Ernie Hendrawaty, the Deputy Dean for Finance, Dr. Agrianti Komalasari, the Head of the International Office, Mudji Rachmat Ramelan, a Lecturer at the Department of Development Economics, as well as staff from the International Office, Arif Darmawan.
