(Unila): Teknokra Magazine edition 219 “Initiative, Revoke The Incentives” won the award for the 8th Indonesian Student Print Media Awards (ISPRIMA) 2019. The event was participated by All Student Presses throughout Indonesia.
This annual award is held by the Press Company Union (SPS). In this currently year, Teknokra, Unila Student Press, won the Bronze Winner for the Best of Sumatra Magazine ISPRIMA 2019.
The trophy awarding was held at the Siola Building, Surabaya, on Thursday (02/07/2019). There is a theme of the award, entitled “Unlimited Creativity in The Disruption Era”.
Minister of Communication and Information (Kominfo) Rudiantara said, print media makers not need to be worry in the midst of many emerging online media nowadays. “We must be more creative to create content for magazines since the writings, that must be published in print media, have more concise daring content,” he said.
The General Leader of Teknokra, Alfanny Pratama (Indonesian Department), realized that appreciation for journalistic work awards, is very important for the crew. “It remains few appreciations for the student press works outside. In fact, student press exists for running its three functions; as the press, students, and activities. Hence, this award is such a vitamin injection for us,” he explained.
The event also attended by new Director of SPS, Alwi Hamu; the former SPS Director, Dahlan Iskan; as well as The Mayor of Surabaya, Tri Rismaharini, followed by numbers of journalists, student presses, and media owners. [Humas]
