(Unila): Postgraduate Program of The University of Lampung held “The Third International Conference on Social, Humanities, Economics, Law and Sustainable Development (SHIELD)” in collaboration with the Korea National University of Education (KNUE) at the Horison Hotel, Bandarlampung, Friday (9/11/2018).
The activity was opened symbolically by beating the gong by the Rector the University of Lampung Prof. Dr. Ir. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P., accompanied by Director of Unila Postgraduate Prof. Drs. Mustofa, M.A., Ph.D., and Ir. Laksmi Dhewanthi, M.A., as Expert Staff in International Industry and Trade.
The committee presented five keynote speakers namely Ir. Laksmi Dhewanthi, M.A .; Prof. Dr. Hasan Fauzi from Sebelas Maret University; Prof. Dr. Ida Madieha from International Islamic University Malaysia; Prof. Hee Chan-Lew from Korea National University of Education (KNUE); and Prof. Dr. Edi Cahyono from Halu Oleo University.
The panel discussion at the conference entitled “Development Challenges in Emerging Countries” was guided by Susi Sarumpaet Ph.D. M.B.A., C.A., Ak. and Dr. Ari Damastuti from University of Lampung.
The conference, attended by 200 participants from inside and outside Indonesia, aims to present the results of research and discuss the research ideas of researchers, academic staff, students who have graduated, and doctoral students. A total of 57 articles will be presented at this conference.
Rector revealed that Unila needed to develop social science to accompany the 4.0 industrial revolution. “We want social science to accompany it. For example cyber crime, cyber law, and how the regulations accompany the development of technology, “he said.[Humas]
