(Unila): University of Lampung is committed to develop in all fields including Unila quality assurance as to achieve the vision to be ten best Universities in Indonesia. One of the pillars of quality assurance is the external stakeholders’ recognition of Unila accreditation and certification, both nationally and internationally.
In this regard, Unila delegated the representative to take part in the 35th Tier 1 Training Course organized by the ASEAN University Network (AUN) on June 18-21 in Bangkok, Thailand.
The Head of the National and International Accreditation Division of the Quality Assurance Center of Learning Development Institute, Priyambodo, was assigned to join in this activity.
This Tier 1 Training Course aims to prepare study programs certification by AUN Quality Assurance (AUN-QA). Moreover, Unila is currently preparing four study programs for AUN-QA certification in 2020, such as Bachelor of Agricultural Product Technology; Master of Agronomy; Bachelor of Business Administration; and Bachelor of Chemistry.
The 35th AUN-QA Training Course for Accomplishing Program Assessment was one of three series of training held by AUN. This training focusly discussed the approach of higher education quality assurance, 11 criteria in the AUN-QA assessment for program level, including curriculum mapping and writing techniques for Self Assessment Report (SAR).
In addition, the guest speakers were Mr. Johnson Ong Cher Bin, AUN-QA Expert, and Prof. Dr. Ir. Shahrir Abdullah from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Overall, Unila had assigned 3 representatives such as Prof. Dr. Lindrianasari in the Tier 1 AUN-QA Training Course edition; Elida Purba, Ph.D. for the Tier 2 AUN-QA Training Course and successfully passed as an assessor; and Priyambodo as the currently representative for Tier 1 Training
