(Unila): The Technical Implementation Unit for International Cooperation and Service Development (UPT-PKLI) of the University of Lampung (Unila) held a Scientific Seminar 2019, Friday (05/24/2019). The event titled “Research, Scientific Article Content, and International Publication” took place in the main meeting room on the 2nd floor of Rectorate Building.
The seminar which was attended by lecturers and students of the master program was delivered by two speakers from the Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CULS), Anna Brunerova, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Engineering and Ing. Hynek Roubik, Ph.D., from the Faculty of Tropical AgriSciences (FTA).
When opening the event, the Vice Rector for PKTIK Prof. Mahatma Kufepaksi said, this event is a positive step to improve the quality of article publication in a journal. He hopes the participants can be enthusiastic and explore the experience of the resource person in organizing research articles.
“This event is a form of scientific article writing sharing. I hope that both participants and keynote speakers will benefit from this activity,” concluded Mahatma.
When delivering the material, Hynek Roubik explained that the procedures for writing articles that fit the literature strongly support the quality of an article or journal. In organizing journal literature at least, the researcher must use the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Research, and Discussion).
He explained, an article for publication in a journal must be obtained from an original description process from the results of research. The researcher must also make it easy for the author to mention the results of his/her publication.
In addition, the journal publication can be used as references by other researchers so that the findings of his/her studies can become a form of dedication from the pure thoughts of researchers.
