(Unila): The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of the University of Lampung (Unila) signed a Cooperation Agreement with BKSDA, the TNBBS Central Office, and the TNWK Conservation Center.
The event took place in the main meeting room on the 2nd floor of the Rectorate Building on Thursday (05/16/2019).
The Head of the KSDA and Ecosystem Technical Cooperation Subdivision Head Ivan Andita Frediantoro representing the Director General of the Ministry of LHK explained, this was a follow up to the cooperation of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, BKSDA, TNWK, TNBBS, and Unila.
This collaboration can support the main tasks and functions of each institution. Ivan also revealed that the scope of PKS refers to the synergy of the program to strengthen the function of nature reserves, conservation, and research development.
The Chairperson of LPPM Warsono, Ph.D., hopes that this cooperation will produce output that is equally beneficial in terms of both research and conservation management.
Warsono also stressed that this cooperation has an important position for Unila in particular. In addition to being a global icon, this conservation is included in the Unila strategic planning that has been compiled since a long time ago.
Before the signing of the cooperation agreement, the event was begun with a discussion of the agreement draft guided by Yulia Rahma Fitriana, Ph.D., and Dr. Endang from the Department of Forestry of the University of Lampung. [PR Team]
