(Unila): Language center carried out foreign language courses for Unila students to improve their capability of speaking in foreign languages, such English, French, Japanese, German, and Russian.
This course is an annual agenda of the language center to improve students’ competence in foreign languages which in turn will support the main performance indicators (IKU) of state universities, namely increasing the quality of higher education graduates, the quality of the curriculum and learning, and supporting the Kemendikbudristek scholarship program.
The course the duration of which was two weeks included four classes, Japanese, German, French, and Russian and it was free of charge. The participants were taught by the teachers with years of experience in teaching foreign languages.
The learning practice with emphasis on face-to-face learning and teacher-student interactions and students-student interactions proved students with opportunities to practice speaking in a foreign language as they feel free to speak without hesitation. [PR Team]
