(Unila): The Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of Language Center (UPT Bahasa) of the University of Lampung (Unila) disseminated information about teaching materials on” Communicative English Level 1 and 2″ in Unila. The event took place on Thursday (04/11/2019), on the 4th floor of Rectorate Building.
Vice Rector for Students and Alumni Affairs Prof. Karomani appeared to be opening the event. The event was also attended by deans, vice deans, and chairman of LP3M Unila.
Karomani said, the existence of teaching materials is very important to motivate participants to learn English. In addition, students must create an English-speaking climate in practice. “We prepare Students Activity Units to encourage participants to learn English together. We also have to create an English-language climate to practice, “explained Karomani.
Today’s socialization of the teaching materials is one of the efforts of UPT Bahasa to facilitate the academic community of Unila to learn and be friendly in using English.
Head of UPT Bahasa, Dr. M. Sukirlan, M.A., explained that UPT Bahasa through this socialization innovated preparing easy-to-follow teaching materials for students to quickly understand the materials while carrying out tests.
UPT Bahasa continues to strive to make teaching material books in such a way with highly capable directors and book writers in the field. Although in the process there were also many challenges faced starting from several stages of discussion to the creation of books.
