(Unila): Institut Français Indonésie (IFI) – Campus France Indonesia visited University of Lampung (Unila) to provide information about further study opportunities, research, and scholarship opportunities in France. The event was attended by faculty leaders, lecturers, educators, and students, especially from the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) Unila students, in the FKIP Dean’s Hall on Wednesday, October 1, 2025.

The speaker from IFI–Campus France, Ms. Nur Fitria, directly presented various higher education programs in France, including scholarship opportunities available to Indonesian students. This information is important for students who are interested in continuing their studies at the master’s or doctoral level, while also opening up opportunities for international research collaboration for lecturers.

The Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and Information System (PKSI) at Unila, Prof. Dr. Ayi Ahadiat, S.E., M.B.A., expressed his appreciation for the initiative of IFI–Campus France. According to him, this outreach aligns with Unila’s strategy to promote campus internationalization.

“We hope that through this socialization, lecturers will gain a clearer picture of the opportunities for academic collaboration with universities in France. Meanwhile, students can get motivation and complete information to continue their studies, including information about available scholarships,” he said.

Furthermore, Prof. Ayi emphasized that France has a strong academic, research, and innovation tradition with the best universities in the world. The opportunity to study in that country is believed to broaden the horizons of Unila students and lecturers, as well as become an important asset in developing Indonesia, especially Lampung.

Unila is optimistic that this activity will be a good start to strengthen academic cooperation with the French Government. In the future, Unila also looks forward to the reopening of the “Maison de Francaise” (French House), which is planned to become a center for academic and cultural activities on campus.
