(Unila): Rector of University of Lampung, Prof. Dr.Ir. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P., followed by Dean of Faculty of Law, Head of Lampung Provincial Prosecutors, Alumni Chairman of Faculty of Law, and distinguished guests, held a short groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction work of the university’s Moot Court Building at Faculty of Law (FH) Unila on Saturday (01/26/2019).
The building, that will be built on three storeies high, is planned to be a place for the operational activities of academicians and FH Alumni. This celebration was also attended by Vice Rector of Administrative and Financial Affairs, Dean of Faculty of Law, Head of Lampung Provincial Prosecutors, Chairman of IKA Unila Association, as well as alumni of Faculty of Law.
In his remarks, Prof.Hasriadi said, University of Lampung is currently as The Top 21 Best University in Indonesia. According to him, this is due to the contribution of the Faculty of Law, which has pursued numerous national achievements in the field of Moot Court. He expected that this building might become an icon of the University of Lampung.
On the other side, Head of Lampung Provincial Prosecutors, Dr. Susilo, M.H., expressed his support for the construction of the Moot Court Building. “From the masterplan design, the building will be similar design with the real court. Thus, both students and alumni will be more accustomed to the roles in law enforcement, as they are used to do it,” he concluded.[Humas]
