(Unila): Two students majoring economics and business, Unila accomplished a remarkable feat by winning the central banking quick precise competition (LCT) held from 9-14 May 2023 at the Bank Indonesia (BI) KPw and Lampung City Mall.
This accomplishment is part of a succession of Library Weeks activities organized by the Lampung Province KPw BI Library for the Lampung Begawi 2023 celebration.
As part of Bank Indonesia’s efforts to promote public literacy, the quick right contest for central banking seeks to improve understanding of central banking.
Riyan Ramadhan and M. Rafi Adzaky demonstrated extraordinary abilities in the field of central banking and won this competition. Both of them were able to outperform 23 other university teams from Lampung.
Riyan Ramadhan disclosed that he was initially reticent to participate in this competition, given that it was his first experience. With the encouragement of his family and friends, he mustered the fortitude to attempt to enter this race.
Riyan and Rafi, who are colleagues, recognized the opportunities presented by LCT at the event in Lampung Begawi. By studying together, they had prepared well for the competition.
However, equally essential is their collaborative and cohesive teamwork. Both of them classified the questions according to their individual abilities and devised a strategy to ensure that no one provided an incorrect response.
They were surprised when announced as the victors of the LCT they had not anticipated their victory from the beginning of the competition. They confronted formidable competition from the preliminary round to the semifinals.
Riyan said that his participation in this competition has inspired him to participate in other competitions in the future with greater preparation.
He suggested that students with desires to participate in a comparable competition need to have self-confidence with their abilities as self-confidence plays a crucial role in doing their best in competition.
Riyan and Rafi each received an award plaque, a champion certificate, and prizes and cash IDR 4,000,000 in total for recognition of their accomplishments. [PR Team]
