(Unila): Two students, Meydina Eka Cahyani and Kartika Tri Ananda majoring in Management were crowned the champion in the newscasting competition 14th English parade held at Brawijaya University from 22 to 25 May 2024.
They were to read a news script titled North Kalimantan Dayak Festival, particularly aimed to raise awareness of the beauty of the archipelago’s culture.
The competition, which was held online, began shortly after the submission of contestants’ news scripts and videos to the committee was finished and the champion was announced on 26 May 2024.
The participants from a number of universities in Indonesia took part in the competition with the attendance of the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Andy Fefta Wijaya.
The competition was so beneficial that Kartika and Meydina could measure their opponent’s capacity. Kartika encourages Unila students to actively participate in any competitions to improve their own capacity. [PR Team]
