(Unila): The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of the University of Lampung held workshop on the Role of Higher Education Service on Performance Improvement in the Development of New Study Programs.

The event took place at the Postgraduate Auditorium of FEB Unila on Thursday (6/20/2019), by presenting speakers from the Head of the Higher Education Service Region II (LLDikti), Prof. Dr. Slamet Widodo, M.Sc., M.M. The workshop was attended by the number of FEB lecturers, deans, and vice deans of all faculties in Unila.

The Vice Dean for Student Affairs of FEB, Dr. Ambya said, all diploma programs to postgraduate programs have been accredited A. In the future, he said, FEB will prepare the D-IV program according to the development of people’s needs, namely the tourism program that has been initiated three years ago.

“We hope for guidance for this program to be run and developed soon so that the realization of Unila’s vision towards the top ten universities can be attained,” he said.

Vice-Rector for Student Affairs Prof. Karomani explained, LLDikti has an important role in forming a new study program. LLDikti is the work unit within the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education that has duties and functions in the field of improving the quality of higher education in its working area.

Karomani added that Unila requires to work harder to achieve the top ten vision in 2025, especially towards accreditation in several assessment standards. Related to this, LLDikti will facilitate the implementation of the quality improvement of higher education in its working area.

Prof. Dr. Slamet Widodo revealed the program to improve the quality of higher education in 2019 had been allocated by the ministry about IDR691,459,000.

LLDikti also organizes several programs, including technical guidance on making accreditation documents for Higher Education Institutions and Study Programs; frequent training on institution and study program accreditation; assistance in the formulation of university statutes; verification and evaluation of University development; and cooperation assistance with universities.
