(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) team for period I 2024 carried out outreach activities regarding cybercrime and cyberbullying Friday 15 January 2024 at SMP Negeri 1 Sragi, Banjar village.

The students involved in the activities, learning the situation and conditions including the negative impacts of cybercrime and cyberbullying in the digital era where digital crime has massively occurred.

The activity marks a progressive step in the field of education and information technology to prevent digital crimes in the school environment. It is also a way beneficial for the students to filter information or news they derive through digital modes.

The students were trained to identify types of cybercrime and cyberbullying and to sort them out, so that they can protect themselves from online threats, such as, psychological impact.

The activities was continued with a discussion session by the presenters and participants to gain further insight.

The event then closed with closing remarks from the speaker who reminded the socialization participants to continue to increase awareness of the risks of cybercrime and cyberbullying in this digital era. [PR Team]
