(Unila): Chancellor of the University of Lampung (Unila) Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani along with the Unila top officials made an academic visit to Unila’s Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Thursday, April 27 2023.
The visit was part of an impromptu inspection by the Chancellor after the celebration of Ied Al-Fitr 1444 Hijriah.
The visit of the Unila Chancellor to FISIP Unila is intended to have the manuscripts written by the lecturers at FISIP submitted to Scopus-indexed publications and to provide socialization regarding single tuition fee discount (UKT) particularly for the students who have passed the ninth semester or they only take six credits.
According to Prof. Lusmeilia, a lot of students do not take advantage of the UKT reduction due to their lack of information regarding this matter.
The Dean of FISIP Unila, Ida Nurhaida, M.Sc., reported that on the first day of work, most lecturers and administration staff were engaged as normal. However, some students study from home as numerous classes were made through online. Ida Nurhaida added that approximately 21% of professors and 3% of education employees took leave of Eid.
The lecturers of the State Administration Department took leave of Ied with the highest number (26%), and those of the Government Department with the lowest number. The dean wishes that the Chancellor’s visit to FISIP Unila would leave benefits and blessings to the advancement of FISIP Unila. [PR Team]
