(Unila): In the preparation of new students’ admissions to public universities in 2019, University of Lampung (Unila) holds a 2019 Computer-based exam (UTBK) preparation. It takes place in the main meeting room, the 2nd floor of Rectorate Building, Wednesday (04/10/2019).

This event was attended by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Bujang Rahman, M.Sc., Chairman of New Student Admissions Body, representatives of several schools in Lampung, as well as representatives of Malahayati University and UM Metro.

In his address, Bujang said Unila in recruiting prospective students continued to actively collaborate with various parties. Among others, with public universities, private universities, high schools, including madrasas.

He explained student admissions this year would be a little different. This was due to fundamental changes at Kemenristekdikti starting in 2019. The changes were made in response to various inputs from stakeholders.

Changes for example are related to quota on SBMPTN with a minimum of 30% and a maximum of 30% for Local Exam. “Based on various inputs, this year there will be another change, such as the SNMPTN quota becomes 40% and that of local exam becomes a maximum of 30%”, he concluded. [PR Team]
