(Unila): University of Lampung through the KSR Student Activity Unit and the National Gas Company (PGN) Group held a blood donor in commemoration of Month of National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) 2019. This activities took place in the Rectorates backyard, Tuesday (12/2/2019 ).
The event was attended by Rector of Unila, Prof. Hasriadi Mat Akin; the former Rector of Unila, Prof. Sugeng P Harianto; Representatives PGN Group; Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Bujang Rahman; Vice Rector for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Prof. Muhammad Kamal; Vice Rector for Student and Alumni Affairs, Prof. Karomani; Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and ICT Affairs, Prof. Mahatma Kufepaksi; Heads of Bureaus, Deans, PMI Bandarlampung, as well as KSR Unila.
The organizing committee, was targeting 150 bags of blood on this agenda entitled “Realizing the Independence of Indonesian by Creating a Culture of Occupational Safety and Health (K3) to Support The National Stability”.
Hasriadi said, through blood donation, it was expected that civitas academica of Unila might promote K3 culture and support the Indonesian health stability. “By involving students in this activity, it constitutes a harmony support for the nation. A drop of blood means much for others,” he said.
Director of Economics and Administration of PGN, Soni Wibisono, stated that blood donation is a form of solidarity to others. This is in accordance with the objectives of the activity. “The blood that we donate will be handed over to Blood Bank of the PMI branch Bandarlampung to be distributed according to its applicable procedures” he concluded.[Humas]
