(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) Bureau of Respect held the grand opening of the Ramadan Parade, as part of the Ramadan program on campus, at the Unila Multipurpose Building (GSG) Courtyard, Monday, February 23, 2026.
The event was attended by students from various faculties at Unila, both members of Islamic outreach organizations and non-Islamic outreach organizations. Participants appeared to be in unison, wearing Muslim attire, creating a strong religious atmosphere filled with togetherness.
The Ramadan Lively Parade aims to be a forum for spreading good values within the Unila environment, especially in enlivening and enlivening the atmosphere of the holy month of Ramadan.
Ramadan on campus is the first program initiated by Birohmah. This event is not limited to a single day of Ramadan Parades, but also includes a series of other activities, such as breaking the fast together, a visit to mosques around Unila, sahur on the road , sharing takjil (snacks) around campus, and a Quran recitation challenge.
At the closing of the activity, Birohmah also gather orphans around the campus and collect zakat which was be distributed to them.
Abdurrahman Aufa, as the General Chairman of Birohmah 2026, said that in the implementation of the Ramadan program on campus there are several obstacles, including the need to ensure the most appropriate type of activity to be implemented.
In addition, the team also adjusted its strategy by observing the implementation of RDK at other campuses to align with the conditions and character of students at Unila.
“There were certainly some obstacles in the preparation process, one of which was that we still had to determine the most appropriate activities to implement. We also looked at Ramadan strategies implemented at other campuses and adjusted them to suit the conditions and situation at Unila,” he said.
It is hoped that this activity will provide a platform for Muslim students at Unila to participate in various beneficial and positive activities during the holy month of Ramadan. [Muzamil Kakar]
