(Unila): Cornelius Saryadi Turnip, a member of the 2020 Unila Accounting Study Program cohort, advanced to the second round of the capital market ambassador competition in the Direct Education sector, which was conducted by the Indonesian Stock Exchange from October to January 2024.

Students from a number of universities affiliated with the Indonesian Stock Exchange participated in the competition.

In the near future, every single university is scheduled to host an event with the dual purpose of increasing financial literacy among the people living in the outermost, frontier, and disadvantaged regions, and educating the Indonesian people about the capital market.

Cornelius, the representative from Unila as well as the winner of the competition suggested that students need to promote financial literacy and inclusion, especially in the capital markets sector. [PR Team]
