(Unila): Rector of University of Lampung, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P., officially lauched two buildings of Agronomy and Horticulture, at the Faculty of Agriculture.
The ceremony was marked by the signing of an inscription by the rector on Wednesday (02/27/2019). This official ceremony was attended by the vice rectors, deans, and vice deans, postgraduate director, all boards of Unila Management.
Meanwhile, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Irwan Sukri Banuwa conveyed that the infrastructure construction of the lecture building has been continued to be developed. One of them is the construction of four stories building for plant protection which are planned to be built in two terms by 2019 and 2020.
“The Faculty of Agriculture of Unila is committed to continue developing campus ameneties in order to support the teaching and learning process. This is a support to attain the faculty’s vision,” he depicted.
However, Rector of Unila stated that the University of Lampung is currently focusing on the development of infrastructure related to academics, such as the college building laboratory.
He explained, if the lecture building is convenient, the lecturers will be more comfortable to nurture the students in a condusive academic interaction. “I hope that by the inauguration of this building, the lecturers can work and create more as well as produce a number of international journals,” he expected.[PR Team]
