(Unila): Students receiving KIP scholarships from the University of Lampung (Unila) class of 2025, underwent training with the theme “Students’ Strategies for Achieving Academic and Non-Academic Achievements”, on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The training took place at the Unila Multipurpose Building (GSG).
This activity reflects the commitment and responsibility of all 2025 Unila KIP-Kulia residents.
The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Sunyono, M.Si., Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni of Unila. In his remarks, Prof. Sunyono emphasized that KIP Kuliah students represent the nation’s hopes.
“I believe that KIP Kuliah is a step forward. It is an instrument of social transformation that will produce a generation that is intelligent, responsible, has character, and is globally competitive,” he said.
He also emphasized that KIPK is an important instrument for building motivation for students from underprivileged families to continue to excel and achieve their dreams.
Parents’ economic status is no longer seen as an obstacle, but rather as a challenge that can be overcome through determination and hard work.
With strong enthusiasm and motivation, the government believes that every child of the nation has an equal opportunity to advance and contribute to Indonesia’s future.
The organizers invited several speakers, including Budi Harjo, S.Sos., M.IP.; Andrianto as Digital Transaction Sales Manager of BTN’s Digital Banking Sales Division; dr. Rasmi Zakiah Oktralina, S.Ked., M.Farm.; Sri Sulastuti, SH, MH; and Arie Fitria, Ph.D.
The materials presented includes academic policies and philosophy of the Ministry of Education and Science and Technology’s KIP Kuliah Program, responsible management of personal finances and KIP Kuliah assistance, healthy student lifestyles, strategies for achieving academic and non-academic achievements, the importance of ethics and law in campus life, as well as group dynamics and public speaking .
These educational policies and support are expected to inspire and motivate students as they plan their academic journeys. For Unila students, education is an opportunity to continuously develop and achieve a better future through effort, prayer, and hard work. [Muzamil Kakar]
