(Unila): The University of Lampung (Unila) through the Unila Cares program distributed aid to flood disaster victims in Aceh Province, Sunday, January 11, 2026.

Distribution was carried out in three affected areas, namely Gampong Blang Awe, Gampong Lhok Sandeng, and Gampong Geunteng, Pidie Jaya District.

This activity was carried out in conjunction with the LPPM BKS PTN Barat Chairperson Forum which was centered at Syiah Kuala University as the host.

The Unila academic community was represented by the Head of the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM), Dr. Eng. Ir. Dikpride Despa, ST, MT, IPM., ASEAN Eng., and the Head of the Center for Public Policy, Development, Social and Cultural Affairs, Gita Paramita Djausal, S.IP., MAB.

The aid distributed was in the form of the Quran, Iqra books, sarongs, prayer robes, cooking utensils, food ingredients, and cleaning supplies.

“We hope that the assistance provided by the University of Lampung academic community will be beneficial for the victims. We would like to thank Syiah Kuala University for facilitating and hosting this activity,” said Dikpride Despa.
