(Unila): The participants with disability took the first day of the admission test to the University of Lampung (Unila) 2024 in the form of computer-based written test (UTBK) Tuesday, 30 April 2024. The test was held at the UPT TIK building in the local campus.
Public relation of Unila new student admission (PMB), Muhamad Komarudin said that Unila provided the participants with special needs particularly, those with physical disabilities with easy access to the test location, special rooms, and good services during the exam as stipulated in the standard operational guidelines (POB) so that no discrimination occurs among participants.
Leonardus Anggoro Putro, one of the participants, took the test in such a special room easily accessed by wheelchair that he felt convenient to attend the test.
He admitted no constraints were found while working on the exam with 130 questions in total. He also deemed the test worthy of his initial struggle to have his dream come true.
His physical deficiency does not necessarily mean that he has no capability of achieving his dream. The deficiency motivates him and other disabilities to pursue higher degree to provide their better future. [PR Team]
