(Unila): UPT Cooperation Development and International Office of the University of Lampung (PKLI Unila) held a socialization of further study scholarships to France. The event was took place in Rectorate Main Hall fl. 2nd, Rectorate, Thursday (3/15/2019).

The committee presented numbers of Representatives of Campus France Jakarta. The socialization was attended by hundreds of students and lecturers from various faculties at the local campus.

Coordinator of Campus France, Nur Fitria said, Campus France is an organization that focused on student mobility and cooperation between Indonesia and France. In addition, Campus France is an information center, study orientation, and students’ assistance to study in France.

“I get a highly support from the government in learning French. I also got a scholarship and various learning facilities. In France, all creative people will be well-facilitated by the local government,”Ana recalled.

She also explained the presence Campus France at Unila is a kind of follow-up forum for alumni meeting for those students who had studied in France before.

In this solicialization, Yulia Rahma Fitriana, M.Sc., Ph.D. presented as the speaker. There are several selection stages that must be followed. “There are substantive selection, interviews at the embassy, ​​and written tests of general knowledge of Europe,” explained the woman who is familiarly called Ana.

This FP Unila lecturer revealed that she had participated in a super intensive class in Campus France for the preparation for French proficiency. Ana took a 7-month class to successfully obtain a B2 expertise certificate from DELF which is valid for life.

She also added, the French government strongly supports students from various countries to study in France. Worrying about numbers of language boundaries was gone as she got success in adapting to French environment.

Regarding Scholarships to France, Campus France offers some information. The scholarships are not only for students majoring in French but also for all undergraduate students. This also applies to students who wish to pursue master or doctoral studies in various majors.
