(Unila): In order to afford idea and innovation for education in the industrial revolution era 4.0, Teacher Training and Education Faculty (FKIP) of University of Lampung held Education Seminar in Auditorium K, FKIP, on Thursday (3/1/2019).
Carrying the theme entitled “Opportunities and Threats of Education in Industrial Revolution Era 4.0”, the seminar invited three distinguished speakers: Dr. Hari Wibawanto, M.T., from PSDA Team dan Quality Assurance PJJ Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education; Syamsul Yusuf, S.Pd., practitioner of Corporate Social Responsibility; dan Dr. MG Adiyanti, M.Si., as lecturer and practitioner of Children Clinical Development.
This prestigious seminar was officially opened by Vice Rector for Academic Affairs, Prof. Dr. Bujang Rahman, M.Si. In his speech, he stated that this is the time to change our paradigm and welcome the industrial revolution era 4.0. On the hand of institutional perspective, he said, “Indonesia encounters demanded era of profesionalism.
Therefore, the government policy named Indonesia National Qualification Framework (KKNI) was built to facilitate that someone may become in his/her profession if he/she fulfills the professional requirements. Furthermore, we are currently live in Big Data era. Hence, we require skills of reading data literatation so that Unila should be ready to equip the students with qualified IT skills. Institutional paradigm that should be developed currently era is a collaboration paradigm, not competency paradigm.
This seminar was also attended by Vice Rector for Planning, Collaboration and IT Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi, M.Sc., Dean of Teacher Training and Education Faculty, Prof. Dr. Patuan Raja, M.Pd., Deans of other faculties, Director of Postgraduate and other leaders in FKIP Unila.
