(Unila): About 33 lecturers participated in the workshop “Making Practical Standards Book for Islamic Education General Course”. The activity, which took place in the Rectorat Unila Main Hall on the 2nd floor, was held by the General Course Management Unit (BP MKU) of the University of Lampung on Wednesday (02/27/2019).
The workshop was officially opened by the Vice Rector for Planning, Cooperation and ICT Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi, M.Sc., followed by Head of the BP-MKU of Unila, Drs. Ismono Hadi, M.Sc.
Nevertheless, the workshop participants consisted of 10 PAI lecturers from MKU and 23 lecturers from each faculty of Unila. The committee invited Dr. KH. Arfandi Lc., MA as the speaker.
Ismono said, the workshop was intended to complement the learning activities of Islamic Education at the University of Lampung. In addition, it currently has the same RPS equation, learning textbooks, and also PAI learning media which can be accessed on the official website https://bpmku.unila.ac.id.
“We will also equip with a practical guidebook so that the lecturers have uniformity. This guidebook will make it easier for lecturers to guide students,” he said.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi, M.Sc., said that the University of Lampung had declared the vision to be the top ten universities in 2025. In accordance with the strategic plan, University of Lampung has designed programs to produce decent graduates.
The quality of Unila graduates suppose to be a priority, it stems from how the lecturers package the productive materials given to students. “Islamic Education is believed to be a guard platform of the graduates’ behavior in implementing their knowledge and skills in the real workplace,” he concluded.
