(Unila): Faculty of Law (FH) of the University of Lampung held the I-Coffees 2019 International Conference on 5-6 August 2019. The activity was the best platform for researchers to share ideas, results, and experiences to advance knowledge of the law.
It is the second year of this FH annual agenda implementation. The event was conducted in the Auditorium of Prof. Abdul Kadir Muhammad, Building A at FH Unila. The raising theme of I-Coffee 2019 was “Fundamental Rights”.
Moreover, the distinguished keynote speakers came from 4 countries, namely Guy Scoffoni (France), Dr. Ratna Sapari (Netherlands), Dr. Petra Mahy (Australia), Bencharat Sae Chua, Ph.D., (Thailand), Prof. Andre Roux (France), and Agus Triono Ph.D., (Unila-Indonesia).
Chief Executive of I-Coffee 2019, Dr. Rudi Natamihardja, stated, the enthusiasm of researchers in the field of law was noticed by a large number of researchers who participated at this conference. The committee has verified all registrants and only qualified applicants who successfully passed as I-Coffees participants of this current year.
Furthermore, there were some panel choices in this international conference such as Law and Development, Woman and Children, Ethnic and Religion, Law and Public Policy, Local Government, Business Law and Disruption, Protection of Law, Village Development and Communal Rights, as well as International Law and Human Rights.
The Committee Secretary, Dr. Rudy Lukman Hakim, said, this year, there were 71 paper proposals to be presented. However, it was only 63 of them selected. The 63 papers, then, had main issues according to the choice of the panel. In each panel discussed the theme in-depth and examined the latest national and global issues. [Release FH]
