(Unila): Unila graduated 1,103 students in total in the period IV graduation parade for the 2022/2023 academic year at GSG Unila. The graduates include doctoral degree (4), master’s degree (144), professionals (49), undergraduates (849), and diploma (57), respectively.

Unila so far has graduated 126,172 graduates in total as reported by Dr. Suripto Dwi Yuwono, the Deputy Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

Unila also graduated an overseas student from Palestine, Yahia Khalil Ibrahim Taha, an undergraduate student majoring in electrical engineering and completing his study for 3.4-year education time with a grade point average (GPA), 3.43.

Prof. Lusmeilia Afriani, Chancellor of Unila, congratulated the graduates accompanied by their parents. She also thanked everybody for contribution to the advance of Unila.

Prof. Lusmeilia in her speech said that the graduates shifted their duties from academic obligation to social responsibilities.

She wishes that the graduates would significantly contribute to the completion of the Unila tracer study and constructive recommendations and critiques so that the learning process and Unila curriculum remain relevant to the times.

She also asked graduates to always uphold the alma mater’s reputation and to promote innovation, creating jobs.

Yahiya, a Palestinian student who was interviewed separately, expressed gratitude and emotion for being the sole international student to graduate during this time period.

He also stated a desire to pursue his Master’s degree at Unila. He exhorted Unila students and graduates to be positive and work hard to attain their dreams.
