{"id":42808,"date":"2024-02-26T02:12:38","date_gmt":"2024-02-26T02:12:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idn.unila.ac.id\/en\/?p=42808"},"modified":"2024-04-25T03:31:51","modified_gmt":"2024-04-25T03:31:51","slug":"unila-team-participated-in-university-rankings-workshop-in-singapore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unila.ac.id\/en\/unila-team-participated-in-university-rankings-workshop-in-singapore\/","title":{"rendered":"Unila Team Participated\u00a0in University Rankings Workshop in Singapore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Unila): A team from the University of Lampung (<a href=\"https:\/\/idn.unila.ac.id\/en\/\">Unila<\/a>) including Vice Rector of PKTIK, Dr Ayi Ahadiat, and Head of UPT PKLI Unila, Prof Irza Sukmana, participated in the university rankings workshop held by Cliq Education, 26 February 2024, in Singapore with the topic &#8220;What you should know about rankings as a university in Asia?&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was intended to facilitate academic\u00a0staff and higher education leaders who are passionate about the trends and impacts of university rankings.<\/p>\n<p>Poh Hee Kim, former director of Institutional Statistics at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore,\u00a0was acting a speaker\u00a0of the workshop as he\u00a0is an\u00a0experienced director of institutional research and planning for years.<\/p>\n<p>He graduated from Oxford University majoring in\u00a0Engineering Science, and he was doing his\u00a0MBA\u00a0and\u00a0MSc degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering at the National University of Singapore (NUS).<\/p>\n<p>He is also a\u00a0professional\u00a0in a data analysis, statistics, performance metrics, strategic planning, and research operations. He\u00a0has\u00a0closely involved in various annual experience and labour surveys, student outcome analysis, contributing to\u00a0worth\u00a0statistical insights.<\/p>\n<p>He\u00a0shares diverse impacts, benchmark metrics, and advice on what institutions need to know about rankings and improvement plans.\u00a0Unila took advantage of the workshop\u00a0with respect to strategic\u00a0insights on university rankings in Asia and the opportunity to have discussions from reputable trainers in their fields.<\/p>\n<p>Unila is committed to managing the university ranking team so that Unila as a higher education is expected to improve better ranking and credibility at the regional and international levels.
