(Unila): The Unila students doing field work in Kampung Negeri Baru successfully introduced\u00a0an innovation\u00a0in transforming and managing fiber-rich leaves into ecoprint crafts\u00a0to the residents of Kampung Negeri Baru, sub-district,\u00a0Umpu Semenguk.<\/p>\n
The activity was held on Saturday, January 27 2024, at the Village Hall and among those in attendance were members\u00a0of empowerment and family welfare (PKK),\u00a0community health center cadres, village officials and the residents.<\/p>\n
This program aims to make use of an abundance of natural resources available in Kampung Negeri Baru. The students strive to provide understanding and experience to local residents so\u00a0that\u00a0they can turn leaves into works of art that are not only beautiful, but also have sales value.<\/p>\n
Ecoprint is a creative method that uses leaves or organic materials to create natural patterns on various media such as clothes, bags, tablecloths and hijabs. With this management, ecoprint crafts are not just functional products but also works of art that combine natural beauty.<\/p>\n
The group of students who are actively involved in implementing this program were Adya Prayoga P.N (Aquaculture), Affifah Salsabilla (Forestry), Syalsabilla Ratu Fadia (Legal Sciences), Agaphe Suluh B. (Pharmacy), Roba’i Jordan Abadi (International Relations), Wantini Haryanti (Animal Husbandry), and Desi Fitriani (Development Economics) as the leader of the activity.<\/p>\n
The seven students were also supervised directly by the Field Supervisor (DPL), Nur Indah Lestari.
