{"id":42616,"date":"2023-06-17T04:39:35","date_gmt":"2023-06-17T04:39:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/idn.unila.ac.id\/en\/?p=42616"},"modified":"2023-10-24T04:43:40","modified_gmt":"2023-10-24T04:43:40","slug":"unila-music-education-presents-lampung-oral-literature-performance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unila.ac.id\/en\/unila-music-education-presents-lampung-oral-literature-performance\/","title":{"rendered":"Unila Music Education Presents Lampung Oral Literature Performance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(Unila): On Saturday, June 17, 2023, the students enrolled in the Music Education Study Program,Unila \u00a0organized a Lampung oral literary performance at Campus A FKIP Unila.<\/p>\n<p>The art performance in question was a direct outcome of the Lampung Oral Literature course, which was instructed by Erizal Barnawi, M.Sn.<\/p>\n<p>Lampung oral literature encompasses a diverse range of cultural expressions within the Lampung ethnic group, including <em>penyekun<\/em>, <em>teteduhan<\/em>, <em>mantras<\/em>, folklore, and poetry.<\/p>\n<p>Lampung poetry includes various genres, such as <em>paradinei, pepaccur, segata, ringget,<\/em><em>\u00a0and muwayak<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>During this particular performance, a group of students showcased a repertoire consisting of five pieces of Lampung oral literature, which were artistically presented through the integration of music and dance. The topic discussed was the Intersection of Taste and Literature.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibited pieces demonstrated\u00a0<em>Wawancan&#8217;s &#8220;Lazy College Students,&#8221; Bubandung&#8217;s &#8220;Dunia Jaman Ho,&#8221; Hahiwang&#8217;s &#8220;Bukhasan,&#8221; Kias&#8217;s &#8220;Students of Beboh Belajagh,&#8221; and Muwayak&#8217;s &#8220;Pulipang.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>According to Erizal Barnawi, these sorts of works were produced as a result of student experiments aimed at examining oral literature and organizing it in a coherent manner from the perspective of music education at Unila.<\/p>\n<p>According to Erizal Barnawi ,these activities were also intended to preserve and develop Lampung oral literature as a regional cultural identity.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Riyan Hidayatullah, Secretary of the Language and Arts Education Department (PBS), appreciated this performance as a form of implementation of Unila&#8217;s music education curriculum. He also conveyed the uniqueness of the Lampung oral literature course.<\/p>\n<p>He said that the Lampung oral literature course is a good forum for channeling artistic talents mixed with literary abilities and packaged in a more innovative way without abandoning existing standards.<\/p>\n<p>This performance received a positive response from the audience, such as traditional leaders, parents of students, UKM in the arts sector throughout Lampung, Unila students, and other invited guests.<\/p>\n<p>They were entertained and impressed by the creativity and skill of the students in combining Lampung oral literature with music and dance.
