(Unila): UPT PKLI of the University of Lampung held safety management training on Monday (2\/12\/2019).<\/p>\n
The event, which took place in Rectorate Meeting Hall floor 2nd\u00a0 of the Rectorate building, was attended by the Vice-Rector for Planning, Cooperation, and ICT Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mahatma Kufepaksi., M.Sc., lecturers, and employees at the local campus.<\/p>\n
Previously, UPT PKLI had carried out the similar training on August 12-16. However, this second training is addressed for lecturers and staff.<\/p>\n
This new program is one of the series program held by The Green Campus in participating in the ACP program followed by ITB, UGM, UB and some universities in Asia.<\/p>\n
Moreover, the training aims to raise public awareness about safety management to answer the anxiety about natural disasters that often occur, especially in Lampung.<\/p>\n
Cipta Ginting, as the event coordinator, said that the program was beneficial for participants in building their awareness of disaster risks.<\/p>\n
For this reason, the trainees are then expected to become agents for their surrounding community and spread branding in increasing awareness and disaster mitigation.[PR Team]\n
