(Unila): University of Lampung (Unila) and Indonesian Social Security Agency for Health\u00a0(BPJS-Kesehatan) were committed to collaborate in budgeting health insurance program for all contract staffs of Unila.<\/p>\n
The signing of the cooperation agreement between the two parties took place on Wednesday afternoon (1\/30\/2019), in the Unila Main Hall fl. 2 nd , Rectorat Building. This event was also attended by the vice rectors, deans, heads of bureau, and all Unila Management Boards.<\/p>\n
Rector of Unila, Prof. Dr. Ir. Hasriadi Mat Akin, M.P., in his remarks said, BPJS exists to\u00a0work together to provide public health insurance to all people. \u201cTherefore, we shall not mind paying the premiums,\u201d he said. The Rector, continued, Unila currently has 917 non-civil servants staffs.<\/p>\n
Unila does not have a special budget to provide health insurance for each person. Thus, this cooperation will be very beneficial for both parties. \u201cNations\u2019 health costs are gradually increase. If we are not committed to contribute in mutual help through BPJS, the costs will be even greater unaffordable,\u201d said Hasriadi.<\/p>\n
However, he also expects BPJS to improve its services and provide an ease for all participants. \u201cDon\u2019t let the process be troublesome so that it can satisfy the users,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n
Responding to this, the Head of BPJS Branch Bandarlampung, Dr. Johana, said, by the\u00a0principle of mutual support, the premium of BPJS fees will be llighter. BPJS presents as the government effort to guarantee the nation\u2019s public health. In fact, the health inflation is getting higher each year. BPJS, then, continues to make better improvements with various research-based programs such as encouraging public awareness with some approach.<\/p>\n
For instance, socializing the society that by becoming as the BPJS participant, they already contribute in helping others healthcare. \u201cThere is health guarantee that alleviates your healthcare cost which you can use at any time you sick. We have formed a team to convey the registration information for contract staffs,\u201d he explained.<\/p>\n
Johana also added that BPJS participants do not need to carry JKN \/ KIS cards. Currently, there is mobile JKN that is able to display a digital card. This card is valid from healthcare level 1 to an advanced. “That is one of BPJS developments. Hopefully, there will be BPJS digital payments like online Ojek in years to come,\u201d he concluded.
